About Us
Welcome and thank you for your interest in King’s Kids Preschool!
King’s Kids Preschool is a non-profit ministry of the Bloomington Free Methodist Church. We are currently offering morning classes for ages 3 yrs (by Aug 1) through 4 yrs. Monday – Friday. We limit our class sizes to 15 children, so once morning enrollment is full, we will open afternoon enrollment.
Our program consists of small and large group activities that incorporates a balance of child-directed and teacher-directed activities. Planned activities facilitate development in language, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills in reading and math readiness concepts, and social skills. Our center activities include blocks, computer, dramatic play , science, art, writing, literacy and story centers. Other areas are introduced throughout the year to coincide with our current theme or season.
Our Education Objectives
Based on educational objectives for kindergarten students of the area schools, a specific educational agenda will be introduced to the children at their respective levels, such as numbers, letters, shapes, sounds, colors, sequencing, and classification. We will provide preschool aged children a safe, caring environment in which to learn, while offering them opportunities to explore their world through academic, social, physical, and spiritual activities.
Our Purpose
We exist to enrich the hearts and minds of preschool-age children from a biblical perspective, provide parents with an affordable option, and offer a preschool emphasizing a faith-based education.
